The IC of Germany’s 60th Anniversary Event

In 2027, the IC of Germany will be proudly celebrating its 60th anniversary – and to mark this special occasion, they are hosting ’60 Year Jubilee’ competitions for the Columbus and La Carreta Trophies at the Rochusclub Düsseldorfer Tennisclub e. V. from 18-22 August.

Columbus Trophy (Men):

• 2 players over 55
• 2 players over 65
• 1 playing or non-playing captain
• 1 voluntary substitute player for each category

La Carreta Trophy (Ladies):

• 1 player over 55
• 1 player over 65
• 1 playing or non-playing captain
• 1 voluntary substitute player for each category

In addition to the tennis, the programme will feature an evening barbeque, a show at the Apollo Theater and a gala dinner.

Format:

• Maximum 8 teams
• Columbus Trophy (Men):
  • 2 singles and 1 doubles over 55
  • 2 singles and 1 doubles over 65
• La Carreta Trophy (Women):
  • 1 singles over 55
  • 1 singles over 65
  • 1 doubles over 55/65 pair
• Best of three sets; third set played as a match-tie-break (10 points)
